Casey Hospital Expansion
The $135 million-dollar Casey Hospital Expansion increased the range and capacity of services Casey Hospital provides. The expansion included six new operating theatres, two upgraded theatres, 128 new multi-day beds, 12 intensive care beds, and 12 day surgery beds.
UT Consulting completed a Strategic Masterplan Review and Feasibility Study. As part of the project we lead the ICT and Communications systems upgrades and the expansion of existing systems installed during the original construction of the facility. The ICT system design included call manager, core switches, telephony, WAN link, wireless network, nurse call systems, patient entertainment systems, FM messaging, audio visual systems and security systems.
