Moonee Valley City Council – Council Chambers
UT Consulting was engaged to design and implement new audio visual systems and live streaming services for the Moonee Valley City Council's Chambers. Our team produced an audio visual design for the implementation of media capture, live production, and broadcasting tools. Part of the project included recommendation for a web distribution platform for streaming the content from the council to Facebook.
UT Consulting designed, documented, and coordinated new audio visual system for the council chambers and control booth. For the chamber, we designed the system for presentation purposes, sound reinforcement, and creating content for livestreaming council meetings. To facilitate the live stream content creation, our solution consisted of 3 ceiling mounted PTZ camera with control, and the ability to attach a portable camera on tripod into the system, with three possible locations for the portable camera.
The control room was designed for the production of content and control of the livestreaming services. This included utilising inputs form the control booth and the council chambers. The live production switcher allows for switching between cameras and other presentation sources such as laptop inputs and the wireless presenter. The switcher also allows graphics for councillor names and capability for delay (in case of defamation) of the live production and for the signal to be cut off.
