Victoria University Tower – Converged Network Strategy
Located in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, the $200m Victoria University Tower is a 32-story structure providing space for students from Victoria University (VU)’s Polytechnic, Business School, College of Law and Justice, and the College of Health and Biomedicine. The Tower will also house research facilities.
UT Consulting completed the converged network strategy for the tower in order to future proof the communications and building services technology infrastructure. The key objectives for our team was ensuring sufficient base building communications infrastructure was allocated to accommodate the integration of selected systems requiring network connectivity. Systems included building management, lift control, CCTV, access control, intercom, and VU applications.
